Gateway Park

The apartments and the community itself is very nice. I like the units. Some downfalls. Overall it's the tenants that make it a not so great experience. It's a gated community and the residence are always damaging the gates. The owner (AMC Properties) need to invest in more quality repairs instead of quick fixes w cheap materials. They don't take pride in the community. The maintenance is great but, they can use some help. I don't think they have enough staff to maintain the property. I have... never had any problems w/ management which is a plus.

Literally the Worst Place 2017-2018

I counted down the days until my lease was up! Management is amazing at blowing smoke and saying whatever you want to hear. I don't think they've followed through once. The gates been broken for months and vehicles have been stolen. There is never any parking. Multiple apartments have to have like eight plus people in them with multiple vehicles that never get towed even when you call the tow company. They charge you nearly 200 a month on fees related to maintenance or convenience that you will... never see in your life time being put to use. One fee literally says they can charge you for cost of professional management of the apartment community.... that's the C.A.M. fee if your interested in looking at the addendum. I beg of you do not give AMC your money and your life will be so much better off.

It’s okay

Well this complex is decent. My husband and I have been living here since Sep 2017. First of all, this website says they’re open sundays 12-5 and that’s a big lie. They are closed on sundays. They have been remodeling the leasing office for months now and just now I am seeing some progress that they are actually working on it. The “controlled access gate” is always open. Maintenance request take DAYS to show up and even then, they only show up cuz you need to call them again to remind them they... need to come out to your apt. There is absolutely no parking ever!!! We had to get a garage because when my husband would come home from work there would be NO parking and he’d have to park by the entrance, and we live way in the back. They made a dog park that is the size of a two car garage which is so tiny!! But there is no kid playground. I’ve seen kids play in the dog park all the time , which they wouldn’t have to do if they would have made a kid playground instead!!!

Run Away as Fast as You Can

If you want management that screams at you and dares you to call the cops on you, this is the place.

3 months after moving in, none of our move-in problems have been fixed, except for knobs for the bathroom/kitchen drawers that were installed yesterday. Bedroom window won't open, roof is leaking, kitchen sink has no handle to turn it on or off. The rent is double the cost of comparable options. The grounds are covered in dog poop and the pond is rotting.

But better yet, your packages will be...
left unsecured in their mail room, torn open and left askew, which is a felony.

And even better, I had them void a rent check I wrote from one bank and wrote them a new one from a different bank, assured they would only charge me what was due. They deposited both checks, and now claim they cannot refund me my money. This apartment complex is the most criminal business I have ever dealt with.

They smile on the front, but will scream at you red in the face the minute they can't correct their own mistakes.

Don't make the same problem we did.
