Incompetent staff/management
I'm in complete disbelief with everything that has happened during my application process. My girlfriend, her dad, and myself turned in our applications for 15-101 05/27 and were told by Stacy it would take 48-72 hours for approval, 05/28 we called and spoke to Stacy and she informed us we were approved with conditions and that she couldn't discuss the conditions till she spoke to her manager then she asked us to ask my girlfriends dad to write a letter stating he doesn't rent or own where he is... currently residing but just helping his siblings pack his deceased mothers house so they can put it on the market. After he wrote said letter she still said that wouldn't be sufficient at this point she has the grandmas obituary, the address and proof of ownership yet it wasn't enough then on Friday 05/29 my gf turned in her fathers paystubs since she needed a hard copy cause she claims she couldn't see the file clear enough then we ask about the conditions for the approval she claims she never said such thing so we were confused and assured her she did say that she asked us repeatedly in a rude tone to allow her to do her job we asked how much longer would that take as she told us to give our current apartment 60 day notice then she told us she couldn't provide us with a timeframe with worried me as we don't have much time I asked for corporates number in hope they'd have answers but she refused to give me the number. I then spoke to corporate and was told we had two options 1."get a refund for all of our moneys" 2. Wait till Tuesday for them to look at what was going on. We choose option 1 in the because we were already having so many problems we couldn't even imagine the longevity of it when we actually became residents.

New Management is poor :(
I have lived here for a couple years now & loved it... that was until the new management. When the management switched over everyone got letters sent to their door saying that they're resident focused & they're going to renovate the apartments, neither of which are true. First off, they aren't resident focused at all, they rarely respond to emails & when they do they are not helpful. On top of that they rarely pick up the phone. So if you have problems or need anything make sure you are... available on their schedule because you're going to need to go down to the office during office hours. Also, as someone else said, when it was Palms they would have food trucks all the time & little freebies but that has gone away, so it seems as though the resident focus has gone down. Second off, they said when they bought the apartments that they were going to get renovated while we were still in them, well now that has changed to they will not be renovating while the apartment is occupied but if you want to renew your lease you will pay the same as someone who moves into a renovated apartment. As you are driving in it also says new community amenities and upgraded community amenities on little signs but this is the furthest from the truth, there are 5 main community amenities, pool, gazebo, gym, grills, and bark park. Nothing new/different than before. Not to mention that the gazebo is old & falling apart, the bark park is always covered in poop & therefore flies, & the pool is dirty & quite literally falling apart (chunks missing). Does that seem upgraded to you? Now the third and maybe most annoying, inspections. I understand that they just bought the complex & need to figure things about, but the amount of "annual" inspections that have gone on in the past couple months is absurd. Some of them are them just asking questions (could've been an email) but most of the time they give you a 3-5 day time frame in which they are going to come in. You must have your pets locked away for this entire amount of time. So if you work long hours, (needed to pay rent in this area) your pets must be locked up in a crate for upwards of 12 hours a day for multiple days. If you work from home, they'll come in & make noise while you are working. There is no respect for your time or privacy. Who wants random people coming into your home for an undisclosed amount of time on an undisclosed date almost every month? The blatant disregard for the residents well-being is outrageous!

Was fantastic till new management
I've lived here for a couple of years now and had very few complaints. Everything was tended to in a timely manner but ever since it switched from Palms at World Gateway that has no longer been the case.
Before, it really felt like a community. The office staff went out of their way for us and had events and food trucks and freebies that were great. Between them and the grade A maintenance team, it justified the prices. Now it's just run like a business.
About two months back, we got new... neighbors that share a wall with us. Every day, they are so loud that we can hear it, sometimes even through the bedroom and into the living room. I have talked to the neighbors, courtesy officer, and the office many many times. We have notified the office in person and online multiple times and have been told we're not the only ones complaining yet nothing is being done. They have a toddler that screams constantly which i understand but the couple is constantly fighting and they have tv/stereo playing 24/7. Not only can I not sleep, I have migrains thanks to them. Thanks to covid, I work from home but that's become interrupted too.
The old management would of done something. The new management doesn't care about the residents, their safety, or the upkeeping of the community. All they care about it getting their rent on time.
Go save money and live somewhere you can actually sleep in.
