Apartments are laid out very nicely, many residents here for a while. The maintenance is great and management is prompt in addressing issues. Some small isolated issues with neighbors but that is to be expected in an an apartment community.

I'm a mother of two children, ages 2 & 4, I have been married for five years to my husband who is a veteran & now culinary student. I'm a massage therapist and an artist who works at two different establishments and teaches crochet lessons to bring in as much income as I can to cover our food & living expenses. Though we do struggle to do it, together we make our monthly bills. Before we lived here, my husband and I tried to live with different family members(after his contract with the army... ended) because we were a young family trying to set our foundation so that we could live on our own. Though we love our family, it just didn't work out and we always felt out of place. As a family we moved frequently for four years trying to find a good setting for our children to grow up and for my husband and I to be comfortable in. To be honest since we moved into the Portofino apartments we have actually felt completely at home for the first time in a long time. The costs are reasonable for what they're for and between the kind staff, the well kept play ground(that's right outside our building) & pool(that's just a short walk away) my family hasn't been in a better environment to just play and spend time together. As a mother who also home schools her children, I'm excited to enroll my kids into the various extra curricular activities that are offered around the area. Also the fact that there is an option to have organic fruits & vegetables delivered to our apartment is a feature my husband and I thought to be absolutely ideal for our new found healthy life style, plus their amazingly well equipped gym(coming from someone who is trained to be a personal trainer) that is open 24/7 helps in that department as well. Honestly, though right now we do still struggle with things we are truly happy with our surroundings and truly wouldn't change them, especially because our kids just absolutely love it here.
