Don’t move here
Management does not care about your safety and the security of your apartment. The day my husband and I moved in, they gave us the wrong keys for both the apartment. We informed Jonathan that we would be going on vacation for the next 2 weeks, he said that was fine, he’d have the locks replaced and new keys left in our mailbox. That should have happened the same day, it did NOT. My husband and I returned 2 weeks later to discover the locks had not been changed and our apartment had been unlocked... for over 2 weeks! The next morning we got up and wanted to go run some errands. Only to discover our car had been BOOTED for “not having a parking sticker” which we did have. Additionally our make and model of vehicle is listed on the lease, nobody thought to check either of those things before booting us? That was on a Saturday and it took calling emergency maintenance like 3 times to get that resolved, our car being booted caused me to have reschedule two DIFFERENT job interviews/auditions. Luis, maintenance guy is absolutely amazing and made sure we got out locks replaced first thing Monday morning, and spoke to Jonathan about not letting him know those locks should have been changed.
In the time we’ve been here (barely a month) on multiple occasions entry into our apartment has been attempted. This is due to management giving out the wrong apartment number to both new tenets/applicants AND contractors. This has happened quite a few times. Generally speaking, my husband and I tend to leave the door locked, even if we are inside. But the problem one, we have a dog who is afraid of strange men and I wouldn’t want to freak out and get hurt or run away, two I typically home by myself during the day because my husband is at work and I work evenings. What if someone entered my apartment and I was in the bathroom? Or walking the dog? I sent management an email expressing concern for this recurring issue, calling the lack of attention “unprofessional.” I received the following response from management, 2 days after I originally filed the complaint. “Good morning,
I am so sorry for the confusion. I do not believe it to be unprofessional though. Humans make mistakes, unprofessional would be us doing it on purpose.
we will try to get it right in the future, thanks for your email.”
Since management doesn’t think that’s unprofessional, we’ll see what the Better Business Bureau and the upper management at Westhome co think.

DON’T DO IT!!
I am never the one to post reviews, but I
feel like I need to let people know what
they're getting into. The renovations are
pretty. That's about it. When I moved in
you could tell things were half assed
The water was not hooked up to my
washing machine. When I started it for
the first time, water was EVERYWHERE.
tried calling maintenance and the
property multiple times. Took them four
days to show up. The number they gave
me at move in for emergency
maintenance was DISCONNECTED. I
also had COLD... water only when I moved
in. My showers were freezing. My AC
was broken and still is. I have had a
window unit since. No communication
on the delay or what is going on. To top
it off..they now have told us we have to Pay $75 a month for a parking spot. It is an uncovered lot in the middle of the city with no security. Why would you pay for that? I literally have lived in atl complexes with secured parking and haven’t had to pay a cent for it. I used to work in property management and this is a huge let down. I would advise to look elsewhere, it is not worth the all inclusive rent they offer.

Don't Move Here!!
This used to be a cute, fun place to live until the property management company changed in April 2021.
The new company is completely unresponsive. (Perimeter Property Services - look them up and read all of the complaints and bad reviews.) They will not fix your maintenance issues and they will not respond to you calls.

Habersham Brookwood Apartments
These are studio apartments right off of Peachtree St. For my work (and for some nice dining options) the location is fantastic, and it seems like a safe area so far (been just over a week, so maybe the muggings are yet to come?)The apartment is seriously small. To be expected with a studio, right? True, but I think they overestimate the size (at least of my unit) by almost double on their website. I have hardwood and newer linoleum flooring--all good. Appliances and kitchen have obviously been... renovated but if I were shorter, I couldn't reach to put anything into the built-in microwave. Also, not having an oven is a bummer. Bathroom is ok; not terrible but not great (tub finish is peeling off in several spots). In general neighbors have been quiet, but this brings me to the biggest issue which is the train tracks 100ft from my unit. Not all units face the tracks, but those on my side get subjected to frequent train noise throughout the day and night. The conductors (they still call them that, right?) take care not to blow their horns more than once or twice when they pull in/out, but when you're asleep, a train horn 100 ft. away, even for 2 seconds, is not ideal. Also, there is a newer remote-controlled, wall-mounted AC/heat unit that keeps the temp pleasant. However, the rental company doesn't give me the remote and I have to submit a maintenance request if I'm too hot or cold so that someone can come with the remote and adjust the temp...What?! Bugs haven't been an issue so far in my unit, but I have seen some dead ones in the hallway between units. In summary: it's a decent, affordable (and very small!) option in a good location. Just beware exactly which side of the building you're on, and don't think you are going to prepare any 5-star meals in the kitchen.
