All I can say is, "Wow!" Such an amazing place to live and management is outstanding. Beyond the great building and location, what really makes it such a great place to live is the fantastic team of people who work here including, the team in the management/leasing office, everyone at the front desk, including maintenance team. The amenities such as the gym, business center and newly built rooftop deck are wonderful and always clean. I highly recommend Webster House.

Management is amazing
I typically find myself in a crunch when talking about managment as a tenant but here it is the opposite of that case. They are incredibly easy to get in touch with, they meet building requests very soon and they respect our privacy. The building of itself is beautiful and the history is rich. Living here and being surrounded with so much to do is something I will truly miss.

Warning
I have lived in Webster House for many years. The building has seen better days, and is outdated in many respects. Instead of making major costly renovations, in an effort to attract new tenants management recently began replacing the apartments' carpeting with wood floors. When this was done to the apartment above mine, my apartment became very noisy, with banging from the sound of the tenants above walking, and their child running, on the bare floors. When the manager came to my apartment,... she agreed that the noise was excessive, and promised to fix the problem. But she did not. When I again called to complain several weeks later, a different manager simply told me to get over it. Management is now committed to the new wood floors, and I am looking for a new place to live. So a warning to prospective tenants: if you rent in Webster House, your apartment may be very noisy. And if it is, don't expect management to care.

The Webster House Charm
This is a fantastic building to live in if you are looking for a central location in the Chicago neighborhoods. Webster House is just a short distance from Wrigley Field, the lake, and Michigan Avenue. It is less than a block to a few prominent bus stops and right across the street from the free zoo! There is a new daycare attached to the building and a school across the street as well. The building staff are extremely friendly and there is a 24/hour doorman which makes the building feel even... more safe and secure. The decor in the lobby is that of an old hotel and the high vaulted ceilings make each apartment very special and unique. I have been here 2 years and plan on staying a while. You feel as though you are surrounded by winding paths through the park, yet you are simultaneously just on the edge of an infinite number of city-like things to explore!
