The two main issues are the management and the condition of the apartments. Some apartments are newer, but the ones that are not are still quite expensive, even though you may deal with mice infestation, ceiling tiles that are falling apart, holes in the walls, etc. They are liveable apartments and the location is okay but it’s a bit frustrating dealing with the new management. I've lived in The Boulders since 2016. Early in 2022, NBM bought the property. They are truly ruining the place. They've laid off most of the maintenance staff and very basic problems remain unaddressed for days, weeks, even months. They have a high turnover rate in office staff, so that it's impossible for residents to develop a good rapport with management (I feel this is by design). And they're making cosmetic adjustments to units and then raising rent by $700+ -- never mind that what really... makes for a good living experience isn't new fixtures, but consistent customer service and a well-maintained property. They fix nothing, including damage from a flood in July they continue to ignore to this day, and they're surly when you ask them to do their jobs. They continually lie directly to our faces. I deeply regret signing this lease.

I recently applied to the complex when they changed property management companies. I have experienced unsatisfactory customer service. I made an appointment to view an apartment and no one was onsite to give a tour, I was stood up. Whenever I have called and sent emails, no one would respond. I was having issues with my application and when I would reach out, leasing staff would not help because they would not listen to what the actual issue is. Great staff to work with. Responsive, and helpful. Great area and location to schools and shopping is great. Modern amenities available to residents.
