Excellent maintenance personnel, helpful front desk and a clean and tasteful environment. Rent is reasonable for the area, all utilities are included (except parking 155/mo) and you're a 10 min walk to the Bethesda metro. Tons of restaurants and bars a short walk away. 40 mins from metro center.

We just moved in a couple of months ago and we love it here! The fresh flowers in the lobby are not just beautiful but they tell you that the management cares about their building. They work with you and are speedy to reply. All staff members are super helpful! The garage attendants are so great that it's like getting a nice welcome every time we come home. Super clean! Highly recommend this building...and I am very particular!

I moved here because I was living elsewhere in Bethesda and it was very expensive, and this place sold itself as a cheaper but still solid apartment complex. To start out things were decent, decent amount of space, very worth the price. But then I started living in the apartment, and everything was a huge disappointment. To start, just my desktop computer along with a mini-fridge would frequently cause the fuse to blow. And then the worst part was the washer/dryer. To me the washer/dryer in unit... is worth several hundred dollars per month, and there's no chance I would have rented here if those didn't exist. Unfortunately, I've been living here for 8 months now and the washer or dryer have now broken a total of 6 times. To be fair (and the reason I gave 2 rather than 1 stars), they are very quick to "fix" the problem. But they never let me know what the issue is, and another issue always pops up again whether it's a week or a month. Today was the worst, where I had the issue earlier this week, went to wash the same clothes that failed to wash last week along with this week's work clothes as well, and the dryer quite simply wasn't putting out any heat.
Given I had literally no clean clothes to wear to work tomorrow, I went to the front desk to file an emergency request, and the maintenance person said that since I could pay to dry my clothes it was not an emergency. No money was offered to me to pay for those dryers, and the front desk person wouldn't even make change for me. I know it was only a few bucks, but this level of customer service is just atrocious given they're the ones who messed up in the first place.
And then there's the garage. Several times my card just stopped working, and even when it did work it's built to save them money, there's legitimately not enough room for people to be driving normally in both directions, and it's frequent that one side has to back up to make room for someone going in the opposite direction. There's construction going on right outside the exit and that basically means you have to wait until everyone else is gone before they'll let you even leave the garage. But they still charge you just as much as other garages do.
If this is all you can afford and need to live in Bethesda it may be worth it, but if you have a bit more per month to spend or can live a bit further from DC, the money is very well spent on places that will treat you like you actually live there and like they want you to continue living there.

Walking my friends and guests into the lobby of the Palisades is one of my favorite aspects of living in the Palisades of Bethesda. Each time, the experience is met with an audible gasp or some immediate compliment. There is clearly sense of pride that starts in the lobby and continues no matter where you are in the building.
My apartment overlooks the city of Bethesda and has one of my favorite views anywhere. The view from my place is only beat by the tremendous view on top of the building in... the gorgeous patio that I love to go to and watch the sunset.
I thought after owning my own home that moving back into an apartment would be a step down, but I have never been happier.
