I live there for 7 years. Ever since the original manager Bonnie passed away that place has become horrible. I have black mold growing in my apartment when I told them they said it wasn't black mold. It took them three years to not only get rid of the black mold that they said didn't exist but also to fix major and minor issues in the apartment. Their management was corrupt one of the people who took over was actually laundering money. But management after Bonnie has always been horrible bad... attitude unprofessional period I wouldn't suggest anyone to move in here

Governor Square is not a bad place to live. I've been a resident here for a year. The office staff is very responsive, maintenance handles or attempts to handle service requests within a fair time period. The rent is decent for the market, but I am not in favor of the rental rate, especially with the lack of apartment features and amenities. Visitor parking is always full, and is an ongoing issues for residents that want to have overnight or weekend guests. That's my biggest gripe.
I do... like the fact the buildings are secure and there is plenty of resident parking. I also like that electric and gas are included in the rent. That's a plus for a person like me that's on a tight budget.
