My husband and I overall enjoyed our time at Sun Lake Woods in our 1 bedroom apartment. We felt that it was the most cost effective apartment complex we could find in the area and was at a very competitive price when we left. Our apartment did not have the all fancy granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, or a new washer and dryer like newer complexes have, but everything was very reasonable for the price and we had little complaints about what we were walking into. We liked being in... Sun Lake Woods rather than across the street at Sun Lake for the close proximity to all the amenities including the pool, gym, mail room, billiards room, trail access, underground garage, and leasing office. Nothing was super updated (wait until you see the carpet in the common spaces!), but for the price it was all very reasonable. The best feature for us was the guest room that was available for $65 a night, which our family used on many occasions. I haven't heard of other apartment buildings offering a room for guests like this one. Over the two years we lived at Sun Lake Woods, we ran into our fair share of maintenance issues and it was frustrating to deal with in the moment. One day our microwave touchpad/buttons quit working and it took a month for a new one to "come in", so we were out of a working microwave for that time. I felt that I was in a safe area and liked that packages were kept in a locked mail room that I could access with my fob. Never any mail or package issues came up. Also, the parking lot could accommodate for guests so I never had to worry about a friend getting towed or having trouble finding a spot. The employees of the leasing office were always very kind and caring, they truly seem to care about their work and have put in the extra thoughts to make this apartment a great place to live. So overall, this is a great budget-friendly apartment, but shouldn't be compared to any luxury apartment complexes that you may find in the area, and their prices should reflect that.

Great Place to Live
The staff at Sun Lake Woods are amazing. Misty and Dawn are so friendly and quick to respond to any problems/questions we have. The building is always clean and they hold several fun events for residents throughout the year. I love my screened in patio and the indoor pool and hot tub are kept pristine. Thank you for making this such a nice place to live!

Great Place to Live
From the very first moment we stepped into Sun Lake Woods it was a very pleasant experience. The management staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Our apartment layout is spacious and well planned, feels like home. The halls and common areas are always kept very clean and upon move in our apartment was immaculate. We have been downsizing with our last few moves but have never lived in an apartment setting before and were a little skeptical but this has turned out to be a... wonderful choice, very happy here. I also wanted to add it is very quiet here, which is something we appreciate. Hope to make this our home for many years to come.

This place ROCKS!!!
My dog and I love this complex! My neighbors are thoughtful and friendly. The office staff is second to none,.and the maintenance crew are always meticulous and on task. The building is surprisingly quiet and clean, in spite of the many dogs that live here. My dog loves the beautiful, secluded walking trail behind the building. I Like to take advantage of the indoor hot tub & pool, as well as the outdoor Bar B-Q! There is also a small shopping center that is literally just steps away,... which is very convenient. I highly recommend stopping by the rental office and asking Melissa or Dawn to show you around.

Our Apartment Sunlake Woods Apartments
Our apartment building is very nice and has many amenities. There is a pool, weight room, library, and a office room with computer, fax machine copier. It is also a secure building no one can get in unless buzzed in by a current tenant. There is an underground parking garage everyone gets a space with their apartment. The neighbors are polite and there is never a problem with them. The apartment has a get together once a month where it is a potluck and you meet more neighbors. Oh and there is... a billiard room and a community room. There is also a guest apartment for friends you can rent out for them. The building is kept very clean inside and outside. They clean the garage and outside parking lot once a year, and keep the walks and parking lot clear of snow and ice in the winter.
