affordable, kind staff & great location

I applied for two apartments because my application was boarder line. The staff (Renee) could not have been more accommodating.
the buildings and grounds are kept up very well. they are all one level apartments so no one keeping you up with footsteps above you. and, it's located right within walking distance to any ethnicity of food you could want.

Living desert apartments

Cheap rent, but every year the price goes up, when we first moved here ut was $450 . now its $500.
The apartment is small we live in a 1bd apt.
The place is really old, always problems with the sink and bath, getting clogged bc the tubes are old. The maintenance taking their time , it took them 3 week to "fix" our ac in the middle of August.
Reneè in the office looks nice but she's a lil weird. The just fired a really nice and carrying guy from maintenance. There's a problem with drugs here,...
neighbors smoking weed and u can smell it.
The electric bill comes really high bc of the really old ac. About $120-$170 in the summer.
Most of the electric plugs are too wide and dont hold whatever u put in the plug.
The pool is most of the time dirty with leaves and sand, and the lock it whenever they feel like.
There are cracks on the walls in ceiling.
In the lease they say do not drill in the wall bc it contains asbestos.
Since we been here they broke to only 2 apartments so crime rate is not bad, there's always ppl digging in the trase cans tho.
Other than that i think it's all good.
