Whimsy and enchantment await you at Little Starling Cottage as you step into the cozy living room with a bespoke vintage countryside mural imported from all the way from Denmark. 19th century French botanical art from Restoration Hardware grace the walls of the dining area. Continue on through the European styled kitchen with copper cookware displayed over a rustic style island workspace. The first bedroom includes country farm themed artwork with a nod to our Sweet Jack (mini donkey) and Darling Clementine (babydoll sheep) and bunnies Clover and Fern, all residents who live at our lavender farm, Sunderland Acres, right next door. The second bedroom evokes thoughts of an English countryside where fox and hare nestle into their cozy dens. You will enjoy a restful nights sleep in our luxurious beds on Nectar mattresses and all natural linen bedding. Our quaint bathroom with pedestal sink and a beautiful mural of a John Audubon style Blue Heron (Huckleberry) imported from London will be the perfect way to refresh and wake up after a restful nights sleep. Look up to the ceiling on your way to the laundry area and mudroom and notice the hand painted Trompe-l'oeil sky scene with our namesake starling. The inspiring library reminiscent of Sherlock Holmes is the perfect place to escape into the pages of your favorite novel whilst sipping earl grey or locally distilled Westward Whiskey.
