I've lived at Wallis & Baker for about a year and a half, and the changes since the new manager took over in late 2023 have been amazing. Previously, there were issues with the responsiveness and security, but now things are much better.
The team is very responsive. Maintenance requests are addressed often within the same day. They're friendly and professional.
Security has also improved significantly. they've added security that patrols at night, so now I feel much safer walking my dog late... .
The community atmosphere has always been good, but now it's even better.
Overall, I'm happy with the positive changes. The improvements in responsiveness and security have made a huge difference, and I'm happy to be part of this community.I will be renewing soon. Highly recommend Wallis & Baker!

Do not live here! They pretend to look organized and cute but this place is an absolute mess. They will charge you for unnecessary costs, never send maintenance on time, and you won't get your deposit back (even if the apartment is cleaner than when you moved in). The neighbors that are noisy are never confronted, nor are their barking dogs either. Parking is a nightmare, so good luck! You have been warned!

I never write negative reviews but I have to about Wallis and baker. It was the worst place my husband and I ever rented from. It was unsafe. So many cars were stolen and broken into due to a broken parking garage gate that would remain unfixed for a whole month at a time. Management and staff were extremely rude. I’ve never had such a bad experience with any apartment staff. Any small issue they would not respond promptly, I remember being frustrated several times due to the attentiveness of... the staff. Also, If you have to relocate due to work or break a lease early it will cost over 4000 dollars plus staying three more months. Then they will charge you over 600 in cleaning and painting fees. The worst staff, policies, and fees I’ve ever seen for an unsafe building and rude staff. Move anywhere else

Unsafe & incompetent management !
There was a killing in the apartment beside me. The property did not issue out any information pertaining the incident and when I asked to terminate my lease I was told incorrect information and forced to stay! Talk about traumatic !
The gate is always broke! Takes months to fix which is another safety concern! People can walk right through the garage into the building. There were several car thefts during my time on this property!
Right across the street is... where you’ll find drug activity as well.
Visit the property at night !
The communication with Managment I would give 0 stars! Make sure to have all communications with this site in writing !!
Management will tell you one thing then their billing partner will tell you another! Very incompetent and back-and-forth about policies that the property manager should know and safety concerns!
Turnover rate for their property managers is very high! In one year this site has had 4-5 new propery managers.
This property looks very appealing to the eye but don’t let it fool you!
For the price you’re paying it’s not worth it!

Not Safe
NOT SAFE!
I originally reviewed this apartment complex when I moved a month or so ago (that review is on their Facebook)
Fast forward. There has been a number of break ins! The faculty is suppose to be a lock complex but it’s not really.
I experienced the most horrific traumatizing event in my life. I don’t feel safe here at all. I tried reaching out to the leasing office to help assist. Getting them on the phone is impossible! & when you walk in the office no one’s even there !
Once I spoke... with Greg, while he’s very charming , the only solution was to move me from my current home into another one, restarting my lease, and still having to pay for the clean up on my old apartment and paying almost $300 more for the new apartment. Now why would a person who’s experience something horrific want to stay in the complex at all…
Please be mindful before signing your lease here! I’ve never felt so unsafe in my life.
