Barely worth it.

Cops and ambulances are here all the time. The tenants are smelly and loud and for the price point its barely worth it. It is in a pretty good location near the heights, but unless you smoke weed, this place is probably not for you.

It took 6 months to address maintenance issues

In May 2024 I moved into Vintage at 18th Street with the hopes of being able to make a home in the heights. In June, very next month, the roof above my celing started leaking from the rain. I reported it thinking they would repair it. They did not so I reported it again before the hurricane in July. Still nothing. The hurricane came and went with even more damage and mildew beginning to grow. I kept reporting it over and over to the leasing agents, and even the manager. It was not until last... week that anything was done. They replaced the sheetrock but guess what? The roof is still leaking. This being just my worst maintenance issue here. Mind you anytime a maintenance request is submitted, it takes at least a week and me reminding them to get it done. I have asked them to just release me from my contract at this point and they have been avoiding giving me an answer for 3 weeks now. I love living in the area but I would not recommend living at these apartments.

DO NOT MOVE HERE

Been living here for a few years. Massive roach infestation, inept staff, and crappy ac units. Management only cares about rent.

DONT MOVE HERE

The management only cares about the rent. You will not get any other service its absolutely a poor staff. Roach and mouse infested apartments and you never get pest control. There's also mildew in the air ducts that won't get cleaned an absolute mess.

We love It here

My family and I came across this property after weeks of searching and a terrible application experience at another Houston property. Rokitha and the other staff in the office were beyond reassuring, extremely attentive and very responsive as we filled out the application and submitted the necessary paperwork. I was so grateful for their transperency as making a move from over 200+ miles away was a little scary since as we had never seen the property. However, they did not disappoint. I love our... townhome. The updated floorplan was exactly what I was promised. The bedrooms are huge and this was a huge selling point for us as well. Rokitha handled our washer and dryer delivery/ set up and the company had them in our home within 3 days of us moving in. All in all, I would absolutely reccomend The Oaks of Timbergrove. We love It here.
