The Essex has the best facilities and location out of 250 apartments I looked at in Salt Lake City. I am more then satisfied with my apartment as the layout is unique yet preferred to a traditional layout. I would recommend the Essex to anyone who wants a great location, great facilities, and great housing. Side note: the food around here is incredible.

Good place to live love the location. Management is always willing to help and continue to make me feel valued. That being said it’s expensive. There are a lot of fees like common room electricity, pets control, etc that adds up fast. Overall good place if you can afford it.

Great amenities and location
They just renovated the entire building and it looks amazing! I love the amenities and location. It’s the perfect location, especially if you don’t own a car. Maintenance and management are responsive and helpful.

Security is a major issue. Unauthorized people living in the halls and stairwells. Drug issues. Vehicle theft and vandalism are substantial holes in the Essex community
