Great location but the never ending revolving door of Air BnB rental apartments and weed smell ruin it for me. A bunch of people moved out earlier this year. Dweck is better off with the Section 8 properties that are their expertise because the Gramercy has gone dramatically downhill. Tenants don't stay here long and even there are NO amenities. Gym's been closed for months ever since it burned down in the middle of the night.

Full of LIES throughout the whole application process!
Applied one 2BR apartment with a special offer of one-month free and $500 waived amenity fees, which of course was a pretty good deal. However, they sent out another email with a much better special that could offer an additional $1500 visa gift card. We called on Thursday to check if they could do a price match. Not only did they refuse, they also lied about not returning the $300 security deposit by claiming that we passed the 24-hour grace period after our application got approved. We then... asked for an evidence because we did not see that disclaimer anywhere. The manager agreed to send us but only till next Monday, which as you could expect, the new special offer would not work anymore. Moreover, she convinced us the 24-hour policy was accurate as Dweck is a BIG property company and would not lie to us for only $300. But apparently, they did care. Because we later found out by ourselves it's actually after 72 hours that your would not be to get your security deposit back.
What's even worse, we called again and the leasing agent still tried to fool us by confirming that 24-hour policy. After we sent them the screenshot of the disclaimer, she did not apologize for giving us the wrong information and tried to neglect giving us a reasonable explanation by interpreting the whole issue as our failure of providing a written notice for dropping the application.
Folks, it's not just an issue about $300 or $1500. You can tell whether you can trust this management team from my experience. As a resident or a future resident, no one should be treated like an IDIOT.

Horrible Management, Renter Beware!
Contrary to the listing, apartments are not renovated, appliances are old, out of date, and replacing them is an extreme hassle. Lease renewal was not a transparent or fair process, leasing office associates were rude and unprofessional during this process and the rates are not in line with surrounding properties. When confronted with this fact on multiple occasions, leasing office failed to demonstrate or explain how rates were developed and how they are in line with surrounding properties. ... Published rates of comparable units in more modern neighboring properties are $400 less per month for a 12 month term not counting special move in concessions. Overall, the common areas have worn, stained and dirty carpets, scuffed walls, faded and scraped tiling in the elevators. There is also vomit all throughout the parking garage area which has been there for months. The on-going construction is another reason to avoid the building given the outrageously high rents, the constant noise and intermittent lack of accessibility to garage. Lastly, its not all bad the front desk staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Maintenance is very responsive and friendly but ultimately has to yield to poor management decisions and practices.

Great Location, Great Staff, Bad Experience Regardless
The amenities and location are wonderful, and I just loved the staff. However, my apartment had numerous leaks during my year there which took management too long to take a contract out for (over 6 months) though the maintenance staff was doing everything they could the problem was bigger, and there were also issues with double booking the loading dock on my move out etc. A lot to like, but I would not stay there and would not recommend it.

Horrible management
The management is the worst. They do not care whether tenant stays or not. Tenants are lower than a number. Amenities are a joke (cable doesn't work) "Luxury" 13 year old carpet in main hallway. Don't waste your time. Go elsewher
