good apartment with a few deal breakers

The apartment overall is good. key fob is required at all entry points into the building including the elevator and stairwell. All the amenities are pretty much true to the website.

There is no parking so you would either need to street park or pay monthly parking through a parking company which can run between $75 and $110 depending on the lot you choose.

Watch your step when coming through the back entryway, dog owners are not so great about picking up after their pets.

There is a small...
gym and common space in the basement. all hallways, stairwells and common spaces are very clean and well kept. Maintenance is really good about answering work orders very quickly.

The windows in these apartments are beautiful however they don’t open, they’re actually painted shut.

The only true downside to this apartment is that the soundproofing between floors is pretty much nonexistent. all times of the day and night you can hear laughing, talking, the TV, music and every footstep as if you were in the same room as your upstairs neighbor. Sucks if you were having a private conversation at normal speaking voice because we can hear it all.

At the end of my lease I will try to move to the highest floor only because of the noise but if that is not available then I will probably not renew.

We appreciate you taking the time to leave us feedback. It is disappointing for us to hear that your experience was anything less than great. Please feel free to give us a call to schedule a time to talk about and assess the situation in more... detail with a member of our management staff. We want to make sure the remainder of your stay with us is up to standard! Thank you!

Esthetically pleasing but...

I love the look of the apartments! And how big and open the floorplan is! But I would give up the ceilings esthetic for extra soundproofing between the floors! Its really bad when i can hear someones cell phone vibrate upstairs, or just someone walking in the hallway on your own floor. Especially in the bedroom! Waking up to just someone walking into their room on a different floor cuz the floors creak so loud and echo in your room is ridiculous! I doubt there is 2 inches of floor between you... and your above/below neighbor. Its not the tenants fault either, its more so the lack of care from the owners to give the tenants more privacy. Just sounds like I'm rooming with several people nonstop. Also I don't ever walk out the front to avoid being asked for money every time I leave.

Beautiful Apartments visually but horrible otherwise

First off the apartment is nice itself. Nice cabinets, windows, layout, etc. However, the amount of noise you hear from neighbors is ridiculous. Music blasting all hours, you hear every footstep, every conversation and management does absolutely nothing about it.

The back alley entrance is always covered in dog poop as most tenants don’t clean up after their pets what so ever and you can’t even enter through the front cause people are always crowding the door and hanging out. Maintenance has...
come to fix issues, but have told us they didn’t feel like fixing certain things at the time; such as a broken shower rod and dishwasher. One maintenance man brought his child with him and the kid broke one of our models off a table by knocking it over.

Again the apartment looks great, but the amount of noise you hear makes it difficult to sleep and even enjoy your afternoons. Seems like mostly younger college students live here and don’t abide by typical quiet hour rules, and again management won’t do anything except “send a reminder email”. Find somewhere else to live.

Was okay for a few months

The apartment was fine at first, the lock on the front door was consistently broken, there is no sound proofing what so ever and people loitered from time to time but rent is fair and repairs were prompt. I was notified today that if I don't renew my lease 6 months before it ends that people will be brought in to tour and they'll give the apartment to someone else (the lease clearly states I only need to give 120 days notice, which I made them aware of). This is just so ridiculous.

New Owners are Money Hungry

Honestly as long as you pay everything on time you'll love it here.

Idk why it's not listed but electricity is included as well. So the rent includes everything except your cable & internet. The wall's aren't as thin as in other apartments I've lived in, so that's cool too. My 2 bed/2bath apt is spacious and the high ceilings are a nice bonus as well.

If you don't pay your rent in a timely manner you will rack up crazy fees and possibly get evicted. But just pay your rent on time and you'll...
be fine.

They also had a move in deal for the first month free when we first got there in August 2018. Idk about now.

It's true that there are a lot of folk on front of the entrance all times of the day because the entrance is right near a bus stop, but they don't bother you they're just there waiting for the bus or smoking a cig outside the marketplace.

The maintenance comes fairly quickly, my toilet broke and he came the same day I called. When my heater wasnt working right they came the next day - and both guys were extremely friendly, helpful and quick at fixing the job. I'd recommend the place except for the parking situation. No dedicated parking so racking up parking tickets is very easy to do. That's the only thing I actually disliked about the place. Parking is a very underrated amenity lol.

Also it's right next (literally right next) to a market so you can get anything you need from there. Omar and his brother are super cool I've even seen them give things to homeless folk for free or let people purchase without having all of the money. And their marketplace has pretty much everything you'd need. I would find myself heading down there for things I ran out of - not 100% expecting them to have them in the store, like aluminum foil, toilet paper, etc. but they always would.

So yea. Go for it.

SUMMARY:

POSITIVES:
Good pricing, Roomy, Newer looking kitchen, Efficient Maintenance, No bugs or anything like that, Basic fitness center,

NEGATIVES:
No dedicated parking, hefty late fees
