Unreasonable moveout charges

The apartment was good to live. When I moved out though, I was slammed with unreasonable moveout charges.
While you rent your lease will include that you will pay for the professional cleaning and shampooing the apartment.

Inspite of this warning, if you choose to rent this property I would tell you to not bother with cleaning up the place at all and hire the company that they want you to. As you will have to pay them for it regardless.

Very very upset x-resident who will never again...

Red160 - Studio Apartment

I've been living here for almost three years now. You can't get a much better location in Redmond for an apartment. Everything you need for daily life is close by and most of it in walking distance. The apartment complex uses secured access entrances to ensure that your car and home is protected. Small Gym but the equipment works and is in decent condition. Pool table, Big Screen TV, and kitchen area in club room make it great if you want a place to hang out. Rentable movie room for private... viewings.

I am on the second floor. It has access to the patio which is a nice area to be outside, but still be at home. No longer can you see the area from there very well as the plants (look a bit like weeds) have grown to block the view. The grill is used by everyone and not really cleaned making it more of a nightmare to use. The fireplace on the patio is nice, but the couch out there gets soaked by rain because it isn't well protected and makes it a bit less enjoyable of a use at times.

The apartment itself is suited for a single person. It has a decent kitchen which you could put a small table in for one to two people to eat at when you have guests. The bathroom is roomy enough and has a medicine cabinet that helps keep you organized. Washer and Dryer in unit work and have been really easy to use. Few shelves in the pantry area to store goods. The bedroom is nice except for the opening to the living room. It really isn't something I like, but I think that's more a preference than anything.

I have two issues with the apartment and only one of them would I consider a big issues. The little issue is that the apartment has two windows on the wall that is best suited for placing TVs/Computers/Other stands due to how small the place is unless you have single person furniture for viewing (I have a couch). This is an issue more so because you can't put an A/C unit in the window due to this. The reason this is a problem in the Greater Seattle Area is due to the big issues I have. There are two levels to the garage. One of them sits right below the second floor. In the summer time this seems to keep the area really hot and the apartment is often 75-83 degrees inside. Even when it is 55-75 outside some days. Others on the floor have told me their apartment is the same. In the winter it isn't an issue, but during the few months of summer it can be just down right miserable some days.

Horrible customer care

Our experience with Ariel today was so terrible that we do not feel welcome or comfortable coming back to the property. We understand that we walked in 15 minutes before closing and were not expecting anything other than to gather information and possibly make an appointment for the next day. Ariel was very curt, rude, unprofessional: arms crossed, irritated tone, eyebrows raised, emphasis on the closing time and the lack of availability; she was clearly annoyed having to "deal" with us. On the... other hand, Darlene was very courteous and polite, even apologizing for Ariel's behavior after she stomped into her office to get the file cabinet key to get us information she clearly was not interested in passing along. Ariel was even disrespectful and rude to her co-worker during their conversation of figuring out what apartments they had available. Ariel did not introduce herself or make an attempt to recruit us to come back the following day; Darlene did all of that for her. Unfortunately, all of Darlene’s efforts were not enough to make us want to return.

This could have been the perfect fit for our new home and now we will never know.
