I am going on 2 years, living here, and I have only ever had pleasant conversations with my neighbors. The fitness center is better than I expected. The whole property is beautiful and well taken care of. The leasing staff are also so amazing, they work hard to help make sure the community is safe and that the tenants are happy.

Do not live here
I would give this place negative stars. We lived here for a few years. This was the worst place I've ever lived. Black mold everywhere and they did nothing about it except told me to buy a dehumidifier. The charged an arm and a leg for repairs when I moved out and the management wouldn't respond by phone or e-mail when I kept trying to contact them. They even closed the office during business hours so I wasn't able to stop by to talk to them in person. The management and maintenance person... was also VERY nosy and wanting to know everyone's personal business and make assumptions and spread around false information. Super unprofessional. Neighbors were loud and inconsiderate too and we had so many maintenance issues including water leaks, losing water on Thanksgiving day, broken appliance, etc. Parking was horrible and there were never enough spots. They were always wanting to enter your unit for every little test/inspection they could think of.

Hello and thank you for your feedback. I am so sorry to hear that you had a negative experience during your time here at Foster Creek. I recently started here as the new manager and my main goal here is resident satisfaction. Although we are... currently making some changes to improve our community, I would still appreciate the opportunity to speak with you regarding your experience here and to get your feedback to make Foster Creek a great place to call home.
Kindest regards, Joey Montijo – Community Manager

Just OK depending on your needs
Due to a recent family situation I had to move out of my previous house quickly and with not enough time to do my research properly. I chose this apartment as it was one of the few reasonably priced in my area that accepted animals. The first thing I noticed after spending just one night here is it is NOISY! When you go to visit you'll notice it is RIGHT by I5, which has of course traffic at all hours of the night and with it being a pet friendly complex dogs will bark on occasion. I had... assumed after visiting that once my furniture was in place it would drown out the traffic noise... OH BUT I WAS WRONG!! If you decide to live here make sure to invest in some good earplugs as the walls are paper thin, and the windows might as well be non-existent as far as reducing noise is concerned. As mentioned by a previous review there's a group of kids that play outside all hours of the day, and I mean I have seen them be out there from 2pm (or whenever school gets out) until 10 at night. Which this is fine except I work from home (at the time I moved here I was not aware my company would be moving in this direction) and at times it's like the kids are yelling bloody murder to see who can be the loudest, and their adults don't care to say anything. The kids leave trash in the courtyard often and sometimes it takes a bit for maintenance to go through and clean it up. On a more positive note, in the two months I have lived here I have never had a problem with my rent or management itself. I like that your utilities are included with your monthly rent that is payable online. Each time I have submitted a work order it gets fixed that day, and they have always called me as I have a cat who is a known escape artist before they come into my apartment. I do have to say I fell in love with my vaulted ceiling and skylight (available only if you're lucky enough to live on a top floor), and the fact that my one bedroom is huge. My neighbors that I have talked to are friendly, though if you do ever have visitors it's a crap shoot if there is a spot for them to park. You do have your own assigned parking which is nice but there are maybe two visitor parking spaces for ~50 units. All in all if I had known what I was getting myself into I would have taken more time to look around and chosen to live somewhere else. Would not recommend if you like your quiet or are living with your family.

DO NOT RENT HERE
Laundry room closed they didn't notify the tenants. I was told it was fixed and when I got home it was still not fixed for another 3 days.
My porch has been pooling water for over a year which leaks into the apartment and I am sure has ruined the carpet and caused mold.
Sliding glass door doesn't lock and hasn't in over a year.
Dishwasher was finally fixed after a year of being broken.
They sent me an email at 2pm saying my dog was barking and that they were going to call the police.
I... have put in work orders multiple times for all of these issues and rarely does anyone come. One time someone did come, didn't knock and walked in on me naked. Another time I got a call at work because the person who was going to fix my light was afraid of dogs and was asking me to come put him in another room so they could work on my apartment.
They have ignored my emails for over a week now.
I called their office and never received a call back.
Will be looking for a new apartment not owned by Allied Residential
My review I wrote 2 years ago; I shoulda moved out sooner. Staff in the office is very unhelpful and rude. Don't bother trying to call. They never pick up the phone and will take hours to call you back. However if you walk into the office they are normally there and act too busy to help you. I had a problem with my cat being on the roof and they wouldn't page a maintenance guy to help me get her down. I found him on my own and he was happy to help me. They took down their website and didn't inform all of their residents. After I spoke to someone in the office they agreed to extend my rent due date for the inconvenience. The next day they put a eviction notice on my door and made up a story about how they told me to contact my bank to get earlier payment. (I work bank hours and paying online is the only thing that works for me) They charged me $125 in late fees. Which of course piled up over the weekend when the bank was closed. Its been a month and they still have no website to pay rent.

Poor Management
This complex does look good for an alternative to Seattle living but the management is incredibly difficult. There have been multiple entries without notice (sometimes leaving the door unlocked!), over 27 entries in less than a year, no enforcement of designated parking or effort made to keep the fire lanes clear, mailboxes that are damaged from vandalism and haven't been fixed in over a year, high turn over for property staff....I could continue but most of it really is poor management. The... apartment itself is OKAY - they say renovated but they mean a face lift with poorly finished counter tops and maybe new carpet. It's a standard older apartment - thin walls but I've never had any bad experiences with my direct neighbors. Luckily, I do not reside by any of the families with kids that are out at all hours and leaving their belongings everywhere (courtyard, parking lot, etc.). I have had to contact the Tenants Union on a few occasions and they told me that they have had many tenants with issues with Allied Residential (not necessarily just this apartment), the current management group for the last year. I do NOT recommend these apartments or any other apartments managed by Allied Residential. There is a reason they have a bad rating with the Better Business Bureau. Do your research and read all the reviews on as many websites as you can before committing to a lease at any complex. For reference: I have never had any late rent payments or complaints against me. I am a good tenant and have always been willing to work with management. Most of the problems have been exclusively with the new management that took over in mid 2015.
