Realvest is a NIGHTMARE. So is the maintenance man.
Maintenance man is belligerent. So is his mom or wife. We could never figure out which one she was. Apartments themselves are decent. However the management company is all bad. I lived here for 4 years before Realvest showed up and it was a great community. Office staff was friendly. Maintenance team were prompt and friendly. Once Realvest showed up it all went down hill very fast. We were so happy to get out. As far as the apartment goes the layouts are nice. The Central air is great. Yet you... can hear your next door neighbors snore. Flush toilets. Close closet and dresser drawers. If you need to kuve in Salmon Creek check out Highland Hills or any of the other 3 or 4 complexes that are newer and much nicer.

The Amenities are UNBEATABLE!
I love living at Willow Pointe! We have been here for 3 years now and the office staff as well as maintenance team make us feel just as welcome as they did on day 1. We have had very few issues and they are all immediately resolved which is very important to us.
The professionalism and consideration my family receives from the office staff is something we have not experienced before. This community is peaceful but fun.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

It aint perfect but it's better than many
The model unit does not reflect the units that are renting, the model has upgrades and paint on the walls. If you like flat white walls, strip club bathroom lighting, brass accents and low end appliances that have been repaired and reused for 20 years you will be pleased. It could be called green living I guess, reduce and reuse everything. The concrete patio/deck slabs and stairwell landings have never been cleaned so in the rain they create mud that is tracked inside and the rest of the... year you see the stains and spills from years before - a walk down memory lane I suppose. Last but not least all the heat pumps are covered with moss.
My primary complaint is with the maintenance staff, after each interaction I feel frustrated and angry. They project an attitude that the residents are complainers and our requests are ridiculous and unfounded. I had one mimic me with mock baby talk about being "scawed and outside all awone" after asking for help when I was locked out (again) by a faulty lock on the sliding glass door. Tenants report problems that maintenance checks and reports that it worked fine for them. I call outside help just to avoid dealing with them, maybe that's what they want. These experiences are consistent across all the tenants.
The property owners either hide behind the management company because they don't care or they don't want to know. The residents are stuck because its the cheapest place in the Chinook Elementary boundary and they know it.
Good things: Grounds are well kept, well lit and safe, good neighbors, good location & pool is decent.

Love my apartment
I love where I live. My apartment was clean when I moved in. The bathrooms are nice. It's location compared to the amenities in the area is perfect. There is a Fred Meyer close by, and a plethora of food venues near by. It's also a short drive away from the mall and many finer dining restaurants, as well as close enough to Portland to make what it offers available as well. The people that run the complex, both the manager and the maintenance people are very friendly and helpful and always... willing to help make things work in anyway they can. The complex also includes a very nice pool, and a combo tennis/basketball court. The layout is very pleasing and the scenery is pleasant.
