You have better options

The management of these units is poor - snow removal sucks, intrusive “inspections”, plus every time you turn around they’re charging you for something. Get this - they charge you if you make a late payment on your utilities! They charge an outrageous fee for dog rent with unrealistic limitations. The place is cheaply made too - walls are so thin I can hear my neighbors PHONE RING literally every single time. Someone left for work and didn’t turn off their alarm clock - so I got to listen to... that all day long. Extremely Busch league

Property Manager at Rangeview Villas responded to this review

We would like to start by saying, thank you for being a resident. We sincerely apologize for the experience you had with our company. We work to improve our company everyday. We do have a snow removal crew. We will be adding to the crew come next... winter to insure timely snow removal.
No costs are hidden. We do have them listed in the lease that is signed by our residents. We are notified directly by the utility company if a resident is delinquent with their utility bill. We do send out notices letting the resident know that we were contacted by the utility company and that their bill is already in arrears . Per the signed lease, the resident then has 10 days to pay the amount or make arrangements with the utility company or a charge of $35.00 is assessed.
We are sorry that you feel these charges are high. We have written the charges into our lease for a reason.
Thank you for your feedback. We will do our best to address the issues you have stated. We will work hard to ensure we make necessary changes and continue to improve daily.

Unprofessional management!!!

You don't know who is who there. It was interestingly awkward. The office smelled completely of fresh cigarette smoke. There was a lady calculating checks with a little girl by her, I thought it was another person there applying for an apartment. It turns out to be someone that is known in the office as well whom appears to be calculating some checks of unknown. I'm very sorry, but the price of these apartments aren't worth it. Sounds like new management sucks.

Property Manager at Rangeview Villas responded to this review

There are administrative and leasing staff in the office and that staff have not changed in quite some time. The “checks of unknown” would be rent checks that are deposited onsite using a check scanner that uploads them directly to the bank. The... little girl you stated in your review would have had nothing to do the processing of the rent checks. She may have been a child of a prospective tenant who was viewing the model apartment/office or a family member of the staff visiting over the holiday weekend. There is no smoking in the office and we have no control over who enters the office that may have just finished smoking.
We take pride in being a family-friendly company and trust that our staff would not smoke in the office/model unit. We do apologize that you feel this way. We have extensive staff, which is continuously trained that takes pride in the work that they do. Thank you

I really don't recommend it

I really don't recommend it they don't clean the parking lots in winter you have to wait 1/2 days they don't clean the sidewalks they have a very bad service now they raise your rent every year since they get new manager things are very bad the old managers before they do very good job they do everything just in time now nothing's get done so I really don't recommend it I'm so disappointed with the new managers now

Best place I've lived in 15 years

Rangeview Villas is a great value for the money. At about 900 sq. ft., my apartment is the right size for one person with decades-worth of stuff. I love having laundry machines in my apartment, a patio, and a garage included with the rent. The kitchen cabinets offer me the most storage space I have ever had, and there is plenty of closet space as well. The water heater has a somewhat small capacity, and the refrigerator is small. This apartment would be even better with new flooring and a... light over the sink. The view of the interstate and the garages isn't the greatest, but the building is set far enough back that the noise isn't a problem. Other apartments in the building have a view of the pond and gazebo instead. Management is responsive. Neighbors are quiet.
