I have lived at Roadrunner for 7.5 months now and can honestly say that I really do like the property overall. I love the MCM design and decor and find the property well-maintained for the most part. The many amazing amenities that the property has to offer and the security features make it a great place for a single woman to live. I always feel the staff, management and maintenance, are polite and have been accommodating to any concerns or needs that I've had. Yes, there is occasional noise,... especially on weekends, but this is normal for apartment living. A few cons that I must list are the parking situation is not the best unless you pay for two spots, there is some wear starting to show in common areas (baseboards, wall corners, etc.), the workout room is small and could use a cable machine, the hallways are often musty smelling, you get charged for everything, and despite their best efforts to address the problem, the exit areas smell like animal urine. I hope they don't raise my rent when my lease is up so I can enjoy another year or two at this beautiful, conveniently located property. I recommend giving this property consideration if you are in the market for an apartment.

Horrible Experience
This place has proven to be an absolute nightmare due to the multitude of issues that have made my stay unbearable. The management changes constantly which creates inconsistencies and lack of concern for residents legitimate concerns. The parking lot poses a significant safety hazard and there is zero guest parking, I have been towed from my own parking spot before. Beware of the numerous hidden fees - these additional charges conveniently undisclosed during the initial leasing process quickly... add up. It is a clear indication that the management is more interested in squeezing every penny out of their tenants rather than fostering a fair and transparent living environment.
One of the most distressing problems at this complex is the persistent smell of sewage in the water supply. Despite numerous complaints, the management claims to be helpless to rectify this issue because “it’s hot outside”. Because of the weather the water heater requires constant flushing but maintenance personnel will only address the problem in a timely manner if they deem it significant. Such apathy and negligence towards BASIC living conditions are simply unacceptable. The community managers lack of empathy and knowledge of what happens at their property is evident in their dismissive attitude towards resident concerns.
It is disheartening to witness not only mine, but other residents experience complete disregard for the well being and satisfaction of those who should be able to call this place home!
In conclusion - living at this complex has been an absolute nightmare. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place + portico management at all costs!

Great Location and Friendly Staff
I just moved in here this month and absolutely love it so far. The staff, Ebone and Noelia really made the transition easy. They went above and beyond to make sure that I had a good feel of the apartment complex as well as being attentive to all my questions and concerns. It's a great central location, close to old town Scottsdale and makes for an easy commute being close to the 101 freeway. The amenities and modern finish throughout the building really upscale the property too. Best part for me... is that it's only been around for a couple of years and the units are immaculate because of that. Would definitely recommend! (only downsides...parking is scarce and you'll get nickel and dimed for everything)

property and location are great, but..
The property and location are amazing, but it is a party spot. You'll hear people in the pool 24/7 even though they have security and during the day it sounds like a rave party (and looks like it after they leave too). When complaining about the excessive noise, an employee told me that people pay the high prices so that they can be loud...not a response you want to hear from the employee's when people pay good money to not have to worry about it. Management was great when they first opened, but... then got bought out by Portico and it went downhill fast. In 7 months with the new management they went through 5 managers, all of which cared less than the previous one. They stopped spraying down the dog park so it stunk like pee and poop and dogs were getting sick using the dog parks. This was brought up to management, they of course did nothing about it. After moving out I talked to a friend still there and he said they still don't clean it. If they get the right management in there this place is amazing but otherwise avoid it unless you want a dorm style apartment.
