I’ve lived here for a month and they still haven’t fixed my water temperature. Cold showers for weeks and there has been absolutely nothing done to resolve this issue other than vague “we’re looking into it” emails.
There are places in the neighborhood for hundreds of dollars less that I skipped over thinking I’d play it safe and come here where I wouldn’t have any major issues. I strongly recommend saving yourself money and a headache and finding a different apartment.
There’s other issues as... well here of course, they say the wood floors have been finished but I literally have gotten splinters off mine, the heat is turned up so high you have to leave your windows open all day in the winter, if your in the front of the building there’s loud street traffic throughout the night that you hear because you can’t close your windows or else you’ll cook in your own apartment.
But these issues and more would be manageable if I could actually get hot water in the shower.

Do Not Move Here. Period.
Everything about the Harper House experience has been absolutely terrible. They only care about making money, and will literally squeeze every last penny out of you. The day we were supposed to move in, they called us that morning to say the unit was not ready. We had to wait two extra days to move in. They did not compensate us in any way. Instead, upon move out, we receive a bill for $1200!! Don't ever expect to get a penny back from the security deposit. Why did they charge us $1200? Let's... see, $900 for the carpet (what a convenient way for them to replace their old horrid carpet), $100 cleaning fee (Hmm, who are they using to clean the tiny 600 sq ft. apartment) $70 utilities (we paid until our last day) and on and on and on. Do not move here. It will cause you aggravation and anger. Oh, did I mention our neighbor's floor caved in? And they blamed her. Seriously?? Awful. Happy to give more details to anyone considering this place.
