My stay here has been great for the most part. I like the proximity to downtown, ease of using the package concierge, and security that comes with the key fobs and gated parking lot. I also really like the ease of paying rent online and having access to everything via the online portal, and the routine cleaning and maintenance of the hallways. The layout of the apartment is great and there is a lot of storage space both in terms of closets and kitchen cabinets. The kitchen appliances are also... great and easy to keep clean. I don’t typically have any issues with noise, but some residents do let their dogs on the balconies and they bark for a bit before quieting up again. There are a few cons though. The fire alarms can be sensitive and some residents seemingly don't like to use their kitchen fans, so the fire alarms go off about twice a month. I’ve also recently noticed a marijuana smell some evenings coming through my AC, which is annoying and disruptive. Some residents and guests don't honor the assigned parking, which is frustrating but always quickly handled by the office. The washing machines, while free to use, are continually difficult because typically only 5 out of 9 work, so it can sometimes be difficult to plan a time to wash. Most of these cons have to do with the residents though, and are just aspects of apartment living in general. Management themselves is great and always responsive.

Don’t rent here!!!
I have lived here for the past year. I haven’t had heat/air for over a month and was informed that it wouldn’t be fixed for 6-7 weeks. Most of the washers don’t work, the elevators are broken more often than is reasonable, and it smells and sounds like living at an animal shelter. I wouldn’t recommend this property to ANYONE!

Where I call home
I’ve been at Mansion House for nearly two years. It’s an older building which comes with its own quirks and sometimes difficulties. But overall, the staff that work here are wonderful, the amenities are nice and they do work hard to keep it a nice place to live. My favorite part about this apartment (that shares the property with University Club) is the community here and with UC. I have made so many friends here, most of the people who live here are friendly, we have game nights and get... togethers. And if you’re a dog person, you’ll fit in well! I’m happy to call MH my home and plan to continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

mansion house
Me and my fiancée have been living here for 2 years. I’d say it’s been okay. The people here are friendly. What I don’t like is how the fire alarms constantly go off every month. The people around us are very noisy and throw loud parties all night. We can smell the marijuana all through the hallways and into our apartment about everyday. (It is very strong and overwhelming that it messes up my sleeping schedule) Including the cigarette smoke which this apartment is nonsmoking. Not to mention,... they leave dog waste on their balconies and don’t pick it up. The front office seems like they won’t do anything about that or email us back. Random people parking in our parking spot that don’t even live here almost every week, the last 2 years. The bedbug problem that we had to deal with for over 6 months. They were very slow about that and left me traumatized for months. The constant slamming doors from the neighbors and loud conversations in the hallways. My fiancée was telling me how this place seems like a scam. Other than those problems. The package security is great, I haven’t had 1 package gone stolen or lost. The apartment building is very clean on the outside and inside. I do love the gaming room and sitting areas. The view from the top balcony is gorgeous and looking over the city is top tier at nighttime. If you don’t mind the loud fire alarms every month and the little flaws here and there then this place is good to live at.
