Before writing this review, I have to preface this by saying I have been a renter, a homeowner, and now a renter once AGAIN, so I've seen and dealt with it all!! Making the decision to live at Westridge has been the best choice I've made in quite sometime! Naomi is AMAZING and she and her team here at Westridge has to be the creme of the crop when it comes to management for her company. I have lived at other apt. complexes before and although the staff and the property were great, none come... close to the professionalism and friendliness of the Westridge Staff. Shane the Maint. Supervisor is very knowledgeable and I can always count on any maintenance concern being taken care of within a 24-48 hr. window. Jason the Asst. Mgr. is always willing to lend a helping hand when needed to help take care of the residents needs. The landscaping and property is always very well maintained and manicured which is a beautiful sight to come home to everyday! Whenever I see any of the staff whether it be Naomi, Shane or Jason, regardless of the time or day of the week, they are always there to greet you with a kind smile, a hello, or wave as I drive by! It just shows the residents mean much more to them than just between the hours of 9am-5pm Mon. thru Fri. I could't be happier with my apt., my neighbors, and having the peace of mind knowing we are all being well taken care of by an excellent staff. I can honestly say I really do "live where I matter" and that's saying a LOT!

Worst property manager ever
Any apartment in Olympia/Tumwater would be better than this one! Naomi (property manager) is extremely unprofessional and has the worst customer service. I've lived in a few other places in town and nothing has been as bad as this one. I paid the normal deposit and pet deposit then once I moved out she told me I only paid $300.

Attractive Interiors and Quiet Residents
The Westridge Apartments are the perfect upper-mid range apartments for working professionals in the Tumwater area. Quiet and secluded, located on Tumwater Hill, and overlooking a small green belt, these apartments look modest but feature nice amenities and spacious bedrooms, generous bedroom closets, and large bathrooms. The kitchens in the one-bedrooms are somewhat small, but nice with plenty of cupboards. The countertops are all modern and tasteful. It is truly a one person kitchen, not... comfortable for 2 people to cook in if that is something you enjoy. But if you do not need a gourmet kitchen, simply a cute, nice functioning one with a nice sliding door style pantry, this is for you. Even the one bedroom units are spacious. The fully functional fireplaces are modern toned brick. Upon moving in they give you a bonus wall which they will paint a color you select from a pre-selected range of modern neutral colors.
The apartment managerial staff is professional, friendly and courteous. I have never had an issue with anything that they did not help me fix in a timely manner. They make you feel as their motto on their answering machine says, that you "live where you matter". There is no real space for kids to play other than the cabana and the pool. The pool is average but kept nice. The cabana is always clean and available. There is no playground and rarely are there kids around outside. Very few smokers live at the complex and no smoking is allowed in the units. Pets are allowed with a weight limit and deposit and no breed limit that I am aware of. Residents are all very good with their pets, I've never heard a dog bark and residents that I do see with dogs are respectful in cleaning up after Fido and watching out for traffic.
I love the friendly and very safe environment, along with feeling like it's truly a home. I have lived here for 3 years now going on 4 when I re-sign. As a single woman I feel exceptionally safe here and the after hours emergency maintenance line is always answered in a swift manner. The bathtubs are of a cheap plastic, they are not the best, but they are clean and well maintained. Nothing to complain of but good to note. They are average but bathroom size and nice countertops make up for it to me. I also enjoy having ceiling fans in my unit. I have never lived in better apartments and the quality comparatively to other similarly priced mid-range properties is high. Will be signing another year contract.
